In the remote communities of Kayunga, many children still face barriers to education caused by poverty, long distances, school costs, and limited access to Early Childhood Development services.
But while these challenges continue to keep many children out of classrooms, our Teen Teachers under the Magical Classrooms program are choosing a different path walking long distances across villages to bring learning directly to children.
Every journey they make is driven by one belief a child’s future should never be determined by where they are born.

Through the Magical Classrooms, these rural young educators travel to hard-to-reach communities, creating safe and nurturing learning spaces where children can access early education, play-based learning, mentorship, and care during their most critical years of development.
Their work goes beyond teaching letters and numbers. They are bringing hope where opportunities are limited, learning where access is difficult, and dreams where barriers exist.
For many children, these classrooms become their first experience of learning. For many families, they become a reminder that their children matter and deserve opportunities to thrive.
This is the heart of our Cradle to Career approach investing in children from their earliest years and supporting them throughout their journey toward brighter futures.
Behind every lesson taught is a long walk. Behind every classroom reached is commitment. And behind every child learning is a Teen Teacher choosing to serve.
Because sometimes, transforming a future begins with simply taking the first step.
