In James 1:27 God Ranks the Care of orphans and the oppressed among the highest expressions of our faith.
Why would God hold the care of orphans in such high regard? Why does He rank it among the highest expressions of our faith? Perhaps because caring for the marginalized, oppressed and orphaned is not only one of the clearest expressions of the heart of God but also one of the most tangible demonstrations of the Gospel this world will ever see.
This holiday season Ba Nga Afayo Initiative Uganda has decided to be the family of the homeless and lonely who have no family to go home to.
Our goal is to give children, women and men straggling in poverty a Christmas experience. With your help we intend to show Jesus’ love by providing free meals throughout the holiday season, Christmas dinner and personalized presents to children.
Perhaps your question isn’t, “what can I do to help this year?”, but instead “who can I help this year?”
We can put you in touch with someone who has no way to get you anything in return?
Here at Ba Nga Afayo, we work with orphans, widows, homeless families, and people who have given up hope of a better existence. Mothers who put their babies to bed hungry, night after night. Widows and single mothers to mention but a few.
The holiday season is the best time to get social, so it’s a great idea to talk with loved ones and take action. BaNgaAfayo is a grass root organization that relies on the generosity of people like you to help provide a range of services to support poor families, young people and children.
We encourage you to support our efforts by making a financial donation of your choice to help us give hope and encouragement to the people we serve. Your efforts and contributions directly impact children and families in need in Kayunga District Uganda and ensure that we can continue to bring hope and smiles to many more faces each year.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
