The Partnership to Educate All Kids (PEAK) initiative is supported by Global Fund For Children. It fosters the learning and development of children aged 6 to 12 by:
- Enabling local organizations to sustain or expand their work ensuring children are able to access education and return to classrooms; addressing learning gaps; offering services such as literacy programs, after-school tutoring, and digital classrooms; supporting emotional and social wellbeing; and advocating for kids who have been shut out of the education system.
- Developing capacity to integrate learning through play into educational activities so that children can engage in playful learning that sparks creativity and instills a love of education.
- Strengthening networks for advocacy and learning so that community-based organizations can connect, exchange learnings, and share innovations.
Ba Nga Afayo Initative Uganda is proud to be part of the PEAK initiative which provides financial support and capacity development to 66 community-based organizations, reaching 100,000 children around the world who are facing barriers to educational success that have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
