Is Anybody Out There?

In a world unsafe, children in Kayunga a district in Uganda can’t help but wonder whether things will get better, whether they will ever make it successfully or whether they are destined to a life of poverty. We are all well acquainted with the different life challenges like war, disease, poverty and the like but if the misfortune hasn’t knocked on your door yet these experiences seem to be out of this world, just illusions. In one way or another we have all been affected by the pains of life just that some of us are lucky enough to make the situation go away or find a way to ease the agony, say we have the funds to treat disease while the rest just have to watch as it eats them or their loved ones leisurely.

BaNgaAfayo looks to ease some of these pains and their effects, provide education, food materials, provide a home to the homeless and emotionally support sufferers. You can’t help but only feel sorrow every time you pass by a bare feet child going to the well looking at you as though you had all the answers to their questions, solutions to their problems. We want to help as many children as we can but with the limited resources we can’t help even half the children yet every day more and more children come to us for help. At our recent Back to School outreach we had to turn away several children because we do not want to take on more without getting sponsors or help for those already in the program.

BaNgaAfayo looks to ease some of these pains and their effects, provide education, food materials, provide a home to the homeless and emotionally support sufferers.

Any help will surely be appreciated be it clothing, shoes, food materials or financial help. We need to answer the call of these children, let them know that there is someone out here who actually cares.

Show you care because we can do more together…
